If you are a private or professional banking client of Absa, the manner in which information about you is stored and used is described in Section 4 of our Agreement for Private Clients or In Section 3 of the Business Client Agreement (or in the terms of the accounts you have on Absa if they deviate from the agreement for private clients or business clients). This agreement exists between us, absa Bank Limited, and you, our commercial banking client. If you are an individual, you are acting in your business function. This agreement covers all of our investment banking products and services, with the exception of our vehicle financing, asset trade finance, fleet cards and fleet services. For certain products and services, an additional agreement is required and must be read with this agreement.

Scheme Loans is available to workers whose employers have a Scheme agreement with Absa. The monthly repayments of your loan are directly deducted from your salary by your employer. We may use different IT systems for marketing purposes, including, but not limited to, credit scoring systems and profiling systems, in order to process and obtain automated decisions based on the personal data you have stored. These automated systems facilitate business relationships with you and may have an impact on the products and services we offer you.
